A chart is a graphical representation for data visualization, in which "symbols, such as bars in a bar chart, lines in a line chart, or slices in a pie chart represent the data
Charts are visual expressions of data. Charts vary widely in type and can be used in a number of different fields and real-world applications
Types of Charts
There are nine types of chart
Column Chart
Group Column Chart
Stacked Bar Chart

Column Chart
A column chart is a method of displaying data with categories represented by a rectangle
In column charts, categories are typically organized along the horizontal axis and values along the vertical axis
Column charts make things easy, immediate, and understandable
Group Column Chart
The grouped column chart presents quantitative values for categories and additional categorical dimensions
This is ideal if you want to give a quick overview of something as you would do with a column chart but add more information with the help of additional columns
Stacked Bar Chart
A stacked bar chart is a type of bar chart that portrays the compositions and comparisons of several variables through time
Stacked charts usually represent a series of bars or columns stacked on top of one another. They are widely used to effectively portray comparisons of total values across several categories
Stacked Column Chart
Stacked Column Chart comprises several column series stacked vertically, one on another. The length of each series is determined by the value in each data point
stacked column chart can display data using rectangular bars where the length of the bar is proportional to the data value
Bar Chart
A bar chart plots numeric values for levels of a categorical feature as bars. Levels are plotted on one chart axis, and values are plotted on the other axis. Each categorical value claims one bar, and the length of each bar corresponds to the bar's value
A bar graph shows comparisons among discrete categories. One axis of the chart shows the specific categories being compared, and the other axis represents a measured value
The rectangles drawn on the bar charts are called “bars”
Grouped Bar Chart
Grouped bar charts are Bar charts in which multiple sets of data items are compared, with a single color used to denote a specific series across all sets
Grouped Bar Charts are used when two or more data sets are displayed side-by-side and grouped together under categories on the same axis
Pie Chart
A pie chart, dividing the circular statistical graphic into sectors
This type of chart is a circle divided into a series of segments. Each segment represents a particular category
Here, the term “pie” represents the whole, and the “slices” represent the parts of the whole
It contains different segments and sectors in which each segment and sector of a pie chart forms a specific portion of the total(percentage). The sum of all the data is equal to 360°
Bullet List
Line Chart
A line chart is a graphical representation used to display data points connected by straight lines
In a line chart, category data is distributed evenly along the horizontal axis, and all value data is distributed evenly along the vertical axis
Attributes
Model
All the models will be displayed in the list that you have created using an object, you can choose the specific model
Models are used to display content in the layout
You need to create a multi-record model for a Table component, refer to this Models
Create New Model: You can either choose the model from the list or you can create the new model by clicking on “Create New Model“ Option for your table
Chart Title
You can give the Title of the Table
The Chart Title is a content control placed at the top of each chart control. It is used to display any title information regarding the visualized chart
The chart title is a label that appears on the middle top of the chart
Merge Text-
Label Field
The label is visible as value on the X-Axis
In the label field, the fields are visible which are present in the assigned model
Select a field whose values you want to display in the X-Axis
Value Field
The value is visible as value on the Y-Axis
In the value field, the fields are visible which are present in the assigned model
Select a field whose values you want to display in the Y-Axis
Show X Axis Label
Show X-Axis label checkbox If it is checked, the label will be visible on X-Axis otherwise not
X Axis Label
The label appears at the bottom of the chart
Merge Text-
Show Y Axis Label
Show Y-Axis label checkbox If it is checked, the label will be visible on Y-Axis otherwise not
Y Axis Label
The label appears at the left of the chart
Merge Text-
Show Legend
Show Legend checkbox If it is checked, the title will appear on the right side of the chart otherwise not
Legend Title
There are optional titles for the chart, for the X axis
Legend in charts so that your users clearly understand which dimension is displayed in the chart
A data label is a text providing additional information, for example about a data point
A legend is a key that explains the colors in a chart
