Overview

• Represents a responsive grid system for arranging containers on a page

• Control the layout and organization of various components like buttons, fields, tabs, icons, tables on record pages

• Layout allows designing various layout configurable things like workflows, events, variables, models, CSS, etc

• They also help determine which fields are visible, read-only, and required

• Use page layouts to customize the content of record pages for your users

Types of Layout

1. Record Layout

• It helps to design record layout

• It controls the organization of various layout components like buttons, fields, tabs, icons, tables etc

• Record layout mainly decides how record layout will look in edit mode and read mode

• Using record layout you can decide UI of various forms or record layout

2. Application Layout

• It helps to design application layout

• It controls the organization of various layout components of applications like home layout, navigation nodes, etc

• Using application layout you can decide UI of your application
