Workspace Creation

What is a workspace?

In order to create and manage application specific data/ metadata (for e.g.: Layout, Component, Objects, reports, list views, Applications, etc.), we require workspace.

Instance once created will have a default workspace created.

An instance may have multiple workspaces.

While creation of instance, will have following fields:

• Label

• Name

• isActive

• IsPublic

• Start URL

A workspace has members.

Workspace sharing:

Data (e.g. Objects, Application) & metadata within workspace could be shared with instance members, profiles.
