The List View displays records from different objects, allowing users to perform CRUD operations.
It is a highly configurable component that can be shown on the Home Page and Record Page.
Users can customize the Standard List View by adding extra fields to tailor its display on the UI.
List view Attributes:

Search | A list view search bar lets users quickly find specific items within a list by typing in keywords. |
Filter | Here, users can apply conditional filters using 'AND' and 'OR' to refine their search results. Reference: Filter |

Create List View:

Name | Provide a unique API name for the List View. |
Object Name | Select the object that will be associated with the List View. |
Sharing Setting | Here, users can control the sharing settings by selecting this option.

Equal | Number, Currency, Date, Text, Boolean, Picklist | The equal operator is used to compare two values or expressions. It is used to compare numbers, strings, Boolean values, variables, objects, etc. The result is TRUE if the expressions are equal otherwise it’s FALSE |
Contains | Text, Picklist | The contains operator returns TRUE if the value on the left contains the value on the right, and otherwise FALSE |
Starts With | Text, Picklist | It returns TRUE if a string or number starts with the specified character otherwise it returns FALSE. |
Ends With | Text, Picklist | It returns TRUE if a string or number ends with the specified character otherwise it returns FALSE |
In | Text, Picklist | IN operator allows you to easily test if the expression matches any value in the list of values. It determines whether the value of an expression is equal to any of several values in a specified list. |
Note: For the Static source type, users can select values from different value sources.

Cookie Key | Choose the available cookie key whose value you want to include from your browser. |

User | You can also select fields from the current logged-in user in your organization to include in the merge. Note: The User source refers to the currently logged-in user in your organization. This means that if you include the First Name field from the user, each time a different user logs in, they will see their own First Name displayed. |
List View Controls:
With this list view control, you can manage the overall settings and appearance of the list view.

Clone | The "Clone" button allows users to create a duplicate of an existing list view. |
Rename | The "Rename" button allows users to change the name of an existing list view. |
Display Fields | The "Display Fields" option lets users choose which fields are shown in the list view. |
Search Fields | The "Search Field" allows users to enter keywords to find specific items or entries within the list view. |
Filter Fields | Select the field you want to apply the filter to in the list view and Click Save. Reference: Filter Field |
UI Fields | Using UI fields the user can display the fields in the List view on the home page. UI Fields created by the user as per their requirements, after creating any UI Fields, all those UI fields are visible in the Display Fields, and from display fields, the user can display the fields on the home page. Filter | The "Filter Field" lets users specify criteria to narrow down the list view based on certain conditions. Reference: Filter |
Delete | The "Delete" button allows users to remove an existing list view or item from the application. |
Config | The "Config" button provides access to configuration settings for customizing the list view. Reference: List view Control Config. |

Publishing helps the users to use Layouts and List Views on the Home Page or Community, without publishing you cannot use Layouts and List Views on the Home Page and Community.
