List View Controls

The gear icon allows users to control and manage the list view settings.

Field

Here, you can choose the object fields for applying filter conditions.

Operators

For adding filter conditions, users can choose the operators from these options:

• Equals: The equal operator is used to compare two values or expressions. It is used to compare numbers, strings, Boolean values, variables, objects, etc. The result is TRUE if the expressions are equal otherwise it’s FALSE.

• Starts with: It returns TRUE if a string or number starts with the specified character otherwise it returns FALSE.

• Ends with: It returns TRUE if a string or number ends with the specified character otherwise it returns FALSE

• Contains: The contains operator returns TRUE if the value on the left contains the value on the right, and otherwise FALSE

• In: IN operator allows you to easily test if the expression matches any value in the list of values. Determines whether the value of an expression is equal to any of several values in a specified list.

Source type

For adding a filter condition, users can choose from the following option: Null, Blank, Static, Variable, and User.

Input Variable

Select from the variables created in the layout whose value you want to use.

Cookie Key

Choose the available cookie key whose value you want to include from your browser.

Local Storage Key

Select the available Local Storage Key whose value you want to include from your browser.

User

You can also select fields from the current logged-in user in your organization to include in the merge.

New

The "New'' List View button allows users to create a new list view from scratch.

Clone

The "Clone" button allows users to create a duplicate of an existing list view.

Rename

The "Rename" button allows users to change the name of an existing list view.

Display Fields

The "Display Fields" option lets users choose which fields are shown in the list view.

Search Fields

The "Search Field" allows users to enter keywords to find specific items or entries within the list view.

Filter Fields

Select the field you want to apply the filter to in the list view and Click Save.

UI Fields

Using UI fields the user can display the fields in the List view on the home page. UI Fields created by the user as per their requirements, after creating any UI Fields, all those UI fields are visible in the Display Fields, and from display fields, the user can display the fields on the home page.

Filter

The "Filter Field" lets users specify criteria to narrow down the list view based on certain conditions.

Delete

The "Delete" button allows users to remove an existing list view or item from the application.

Config

The "Config" button provides access to configuration settings for customizing the list view.

Sharing Setting

The "Sharing Settings" allow you to control access to the list view with the following options:

• Only Me: Accessible only to the current user.

• Public: Accessible to all users.

• Specific (User and Profile): Accessible to selected users or profiles.

Variables

Here, users can configure a new variable for use in their settings or filter conditions.
