In this section, we will guide you through setting up a SharePoint storage profile in docuWeaver.

Before proceeding to the next step, it's important to set up named credentials for SharePoint in your org.

Steps to set up SharePoint Storage Profile

  1. Start by creating a storage profile.

  1. Fill the details as mentioned in the table below.

Input Name

Description

Storage Type

Enables users to select from various storage platforms where attachments can be uploaded.

Label

A user-friendly name for the storage profile being set up, used for easy identification within the application.

Account Name/ Client Id

The identifier associated with an application that facilitates client/server OAuth 2.0 authentication, ensuring secure identity verification with the Sharepoint server.

Named Credentials

Specifies the URL of a callout endpoint to SharePoint and its required authentication parameters in one definition.

Note: User can use the named credential created for SharePoint as set up earlier in prerequisites section.

Site Name

Active

Specifies whether the storage profile is active and available for use.

Note: If kept unchecked, user can not use the specific storage profile.

Maintain Versioning

Indicates whether file versioning should be maintained for uploaded attachments.

Note: If kept unchecked, user can not have file versioning for attachments uploaded.

Max File Size(kb)

Sets the maximum file size (in kilobytes) allowed for uploading attachments.

Description

A brief explanation of the purpose of the storage profile being created.

  1. Click on Save button.

  2. Here, your storage profile of SharePoint is created.
