Steps to create the Business Workflow

  1. Start by creating a layout.

  1. Open created layout, and select Workflows from building blocks at left side to configure the layout.

Note: If you have created Record Layout, you will have a predefined workflows, specific to that object, which will be immutable in nature.

For example, we can see here predefined workflows namely Save Record, Query Record, Save & New Record and Close Pop Up.

  1. Click on + button to open workflow screen.

  1. Fill the details Label, Name and choose Type as Business.

5. Click on the Save button.

Steps to create the Validation Workflow

  2. Fill the details Label, Name and choose Type as Validation. After choosing Validation as type, Error Message input field gets visible, fill the comprehensible Error Message.

    6. Click on the Save button.
