In this section, you can see various options that appear while configuring the Net promoter Score. These options include:

Attribute Name

Description

Record Object

This represents the object for which the configuration is created. The object is already selected for record page type, as it was chosen during the initial configuration.

Note: This field is disabled and pre-filled for Record Page.

Note: This field is not applicable for Non-Record Page.

Record to Preview

This feature allows users to select an object record to see how the NPS will appear in the preview section after making changes.

Note: This field is not applicable for Non-Record Page.

Question

Here, you can define you question for your NPS survey, you can put it as static or you can get the question from various sources.

Response Reason Question

This field allows users to provide additional context or details regarding their response. It helps in understanding the reasons behind the given rating.

Type

Here, the you can select the type of Net Promoter Score (NPS) component.

Response

  • This option allows the user to select the field where the response will be stored. This field captures the rating or feedback provided by the customer.

  • You can choose from various sources where the response will be stored.

The available options are:

  • Text: Allows respondents to provide a textual input for their rating.

  • Range: Allows respondents to select a numerical rating.

Reason

This setting allows the user to select the field where the reason for the rating will be stored. This field captures any additional context or details provided by the customer regarding their rating.

Detractors

Detractors are respondents who are dissatisfied with the product or service and may provide negative feedback. This option includes all values from the picklist of the selected object configuration, and you can choose multiple values as detractors.

Passive

Respondents categorized as Passives are generally satisfied with the product or service but are not enthusiastic enough to be considered Promoters. This option includes all values from the picklist of the selected object configuration, and you can choose multiple values as Passive.

Promoters

Respondents categorized as Promoters are highly satisfied and enthusiastic about the product or service. This option includes all values from the picklist of the selected object configuration, and you can choose multiple values as Promoters.

Response Reason

This is a multi-select picklist field containing values corresponding to Detractors, Passives, and Promoters. By selecting these values, you can display the relevant response reasons associated with each category.

Padding Location

You can set the padding location for components (e.g., 'around,' 'left') to create space around them. After setting the location, you can adjust the padding size accordingly.

Margin Location

You can set the margin location for components (e.g., 'around,' 'left'). After setting the location, you can adjust the margin size accordingly.

Note: For non-record pages, the attributes are similar, but some options may be unavailable, such as "Record Object" and "Record Preview''

Value Source:

In this section, users can choose from various input sources, including:

  • Custom Metadata

  • Custom Setting

  • Record Field (available only in record page configuration)

  • Static Value

These input sources allow you to pass or set values for various attributes or fields.

Record Field

Use a record value from a selected Record Object.

Note: This option is only available when the page type is set to Record Page Config.

Static

You can provide a static fixed value.
