Attribute Name

Description

Record Object

This represents the object for which the configuration is created. The object is already selected for record page type, as it was chosen during the initial configuration.

Note: This field is disabled if the user selects 'and pre-filled for Record Page.

Note: This field is not applicable for Non-Record Page' in the configuration.

Record to Preview

This feature allows users to select an object record to see how the Rating will appear in the preview section after making changes.

Note: This field is not available if the user selects 'applicable for Non-Record Page' in the configuration.

Label

You can set the title for the Rating here.

Note:

It offers various value sources to assign to the label which you can explore from reference.

Icon Type

This feature allows users to choose the style of icons or symbols that will be displayed to users when they rate or provide feedback.

Note: For Static icon type, You can choose either

  • Circle

  • Smiley

  • Star

Max Value

This option allows you to take maximum value of rating from your users.

For example, You can set the maximum rating value here, such as 10, or use another value source. This will define the highest rating users can give and ensure they cannot exceed this limit.

  • This option allows you to display the rating on your component based on the value you provide, which can be either static or from other sources.

For example, You can configure a product object field called "Rating" or provide a static value, such as 5, in this attribute. This will display the rating for a specific product based on the record or the static value provided. This field will store the rating whenever a user gives a rating using this component, and vice versa.

No. of Icons

  • This option allows you to select the number of icon you want to displayed in your Rating.

Note:
  • By default, the number of icons is set to 5, with a maximum limit of 10 icons.

Size

This option allows users to set different sizes for the rating component.

Note:

Rating sizes are available in four sizes

  • x-small

  • Small

  • Medium

  • Large

Show Value

This option allows users to display the rating value given by others.

For example, if a user gives a 5-star rating for your product, the value "5" will appear slightly above the rating component.

Read Only

If this option is checked, the user cannot change or edit the value from the page or preview.

Padding Location

  • It is used to create space around an element's content.

  • You can set the padding location for

components (e.g., 'around,' 'left') to create space around them. After setting the location, you can adjust the padding size accordingly.

Margin Location

You can set the margin location for components (e.g., 'around,' 'left'). After setting the location, you can adjust the margin size accordingly
  • Rating as:
    Around, Top, Bottom, Left, Right, Horizontal, Vertical.

Padding Size

You can set the padding Size for Rating as:
XXX Small, XX Small, X Small, Small, Medium , Large, X Large.

Margin Location

  • It is used to create space from outer edge of an element's content.

  • You can set the Margin location for Rating as:
    Around, Top, Bottom, Left, Right, Horizontal, Vertical.
