An address field allows a user to fill in their Allows users to enter an address in the standard address format . the sub-fields that are included in the address field are as followswith the following information:
Country: The country is a standard picklist where from which users can select their specific country to which they belong.
State: State is the geographical boundary for the address field, and State is a a standard and dependent picklist on the country. For example, if a user chooses India as their the country, a state related to that country all states within India will be displayed.
City: The city City is a text field in which users can add type in the particular city .name
Address Line 1 and Line & 2: In Address Line 1 and Line 2, users can describe their street number, building number etc.Pincode: Pincode is a field for a particular geographical area, pincode means a postal number, office number etc.& 2 the users can fill the detailed address
Pin code: A pin code is a text type in which users can fill in their pin code
Country, State, City, Address Line 1, and Pin Code will be required. if the address field is marked as required
Field creation properties:
Label: To display on UI
Name: To save at backend, instance prefix will append in case of custom object
Help Text: This text will be visible at the top right corner of the field as a popover
Description: You can give the description of the field while creation
Access Feature
Queryable: Query can be performed on this field
Creatable: Record can be created with value in this field
Editable: Value in this field can be edited
This gets saved as “Object” in Database
The nested fields are stored in “String” data type
