A website header is the first thing that visitors see when they visit a site, and it appears on every page of the site. A good website header balances clean design and crystal-clear navigation to the deeper pages of a website.

...

Page headers are used at the top of several page types and contain the Title of the page. It is a text that is separated from the body text and appears at the top of a printed page.

Headers are not usually the place for stylized fonts, as these can be harder to read. Headers must be readable at a glance, so use words that are short, and choose fonts that are clear and in relatively large font size.

Typically these areas are used for inserting document information, such as the name of the document, the chapter heading, page numbers, and creation date.

In PWR apps, the title for the object home page header is a filtering component. This is placed on the media object that contains the title and down icon to simulate a hover and focus state of a link.
