Currency allows user Allows users to select currency and enter a value. The sub-fields of currency are as follows:

Currency Type: Currency type is a picklist where user can select there appropriate currency type INR, USD, GBP are the currency type perensent in Currency field.

Minimum: User can set the minimum value.

Maximum: User can set the maximun value.

Decimal Places: User can set the decimal Places.

Field creation properties:
Label: To display on UI
Name: To save at backend, instance prefix will append in case of custom object
Required: You can set this field as required or mandatory. So, the record cannot be saved without entering the value in this field
Currency Selectable: Multiple currency types are supported in the field. You can set whether the user can change or select the currency type while creating the record
Currency Type: You can set the default currency type for this field which can be changed if the Currency Selectable is set as true
Minimum: You can define the minimum value to be entered in this field. This can be set as negative as well
Maximum: You can define the maximum value to be entered in this field, this cannot be less than the values entered in the Minimum allowed field
ReadOnly <> Read-only: You can set this field as read-only. Users can put the value in this field only while record creation
Decimal Places: You can define the allowed digit after the decimal point if the decimal point is set as 2 and the value entered is 12.345 then it will be displayed as 12.35 (after rounding off). However, the value saved will be 12.345
Sortable: Value in fields can be sorted in ascending or descending order on the listview if this is set as true
Help Text: This text will be visible at the top right corner of the field as a popover
Description: You can give the description of the field while creation
