Reference: How to create a layout? |
After creating a layout, open it, navigate to the Building Blocks sectionOpen created layout, and select Models from building blocks at left side to configure the layout.
Note: If you have created Record Layout, you will have some a predefined model, specific to object, which will be immutable in nature.

+button, to open new model creation screen.

Fill the details for the layout:
Type

Object

Label

Name
...
Record Count
...
Is Shared?
...
Offset
...
Limit
...
Order By
...
Do Not Auto Query.
As well as, if you need to specify fields to be considered while creation of model, it can be done from Fields tab and if you need filter criteria on the basis of which model will reflect records can be set up in Criteria tab.
Note: Specifying Fields and specifying Criteria is optional.
